Poland

We left Prague and visited two of the most infamous places that I know of:  Auschwitz and Birkenau, Europe’s most moving memorials to the Holocaust.  I think that everyone should see this bit of insanity that was instigated by the human race.

Throughout Poland we saw the remnants of the once flourishing Jewish communities–especially in city of Kraków. This is also the place where Oskar Schindler’s Factory was located.  Only about 25,000 Jews can be found in modern Poland.  The country is beautiful and also the food.  I think that the park scene on this page is to be found in Kraków.
